Lisa’s Insurance Agency (“I”, “me”, “my”) respects your privacy. This policy applies to lisasinsuranceagency.com and to the information you share with me when you ask for help with insurance.

Information I collect

When you use the contact form on this site, I collect what you choose to give me: your name, email address, phone number, and whatever you write in the message. If you call, text or email me, I keep the information you share so I can help you.

Like most websites, this site also collects general information about how it is used, such as which pages are visited, roughly where visitors are located (city or region), and the type of device and browser. This is measured with Google Analytics and is described under “Cookies and analytics” below. It is not used to identify you personally.

This site does not use advertising trackers, and I do not buy or sell personal information.

How I use your information

  • To respond to you and answer your questions.
  • To compare plans and prepare quotes for the coverage you ask about.
  • To help you apply for and enrol in a plan, if you choose to.
  • To stay in touch about your coverage while you are my client.
  • To meet the record-keeping rules that apply to licensed agents.

Calls and text messages

When you give me your phone number and ask to be contacted, you agree that I may call or text you about your request and your coverage. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP, and you can ask me to stop calling at any time.

When I share information, and with whom

I share your information only as needed to help you, or as the law requires:

  • Insurance carriers — to request quotes and submit applications for the coverage you choose.
  • Service providers who work on my behalf — for example, the customer-management system I use to keep track of client requests, and the scheduling tool that powers the “pick a time” calendar. They may only use your information to provide their service to me.
  • When required — to comply with the law, a regulator, or a lawful request, or to protect rights and safety.

I do not sell your personal information, and I do not share it for anyone else’s marketing.

Cookies and analytics

This site uses Google Analytics, a service from Google, to understand how visitors use the site, for example which pages are most helpful, so I can improve it. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technology to collect information such as the pages you view, how long you stay, the website that referred you, your general location, and your device and browser type. This information is aggregated into reports; I do not use it to identify you, and the details you type into the contact form are not sent to Google Analytics. Google processes this information under its own privacy policy; you can learn more at How Google uses information from sites that use its services.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on to stop Google Analytics from measuring your visits. The site works normally either way.

This site does not use advertising cookies. If you open the optional scheduling calendar, that feature is provided by a third party (cal.com) and may set its own cookies so it can work.

Reviews shown on this site

The reviews on the homepage come from my public Google Business listing and are shown exactly as they were written. They are collected when the site is built, not by tracking you.

How I protect your information

I take reasonable steps to keep your information secure. The contact form is transmitted over an encrypted connection and handed to my customer-management system on the server side; your details are never posted to a third party from your browser. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but I treat your information with care.

How long I keep it

I keep your information for as long as needed to help you and to meet the record-keeping requirements that apply to licensed insurance agents, after which it is removed or retained only as the law allows.

Your choices

  • Ask me what information I have about you.
  • Ask me to correct or update it.
  • Ask me to delete it, where I am not required to keep it.
  • Opt out of calls or texts at any time.

Children’s privacy

This site is meant for adults seeking insurance. I do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, I will post the updated version here with a new effective date.
